Nokia has been offering free voice-guided navigation for quite a while. Google is also offering it on its Android 2.1 devices and now Samsung is trying to do the same albeit on a single device only. Samsung is providing free voice-guided navigation to Czech Monte (S5620) users. Hopefully, the navigation will be extended to a number of devices and other regions as well.
Anyways, the navigation is provided by NaviExpert and will allow users to have Navteq maps from 36 European countries. The app is Java-based and will make use of phone’s cellular data connection.
