Samsung’s full HD capable camcorder HMX-S16 is now available in South Korea. Unveiled at the CES this year, the HMX-S16 boasts a 64GB SSD to record videos at full HD resolution and 10MP BSI CMOS sensor to shoot better quality videos in low light areas.
Other features the camcorder includes is the 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, optical image stabilization, still image capture, Wi-Fi with DLNA support, 18x Intelli-Zoom lens with 15x optical zoom, SDHC card slot and plug & play PC software.
Samsung will also release HMX-S15, which is same as S16 but with 32GB SSD and HMX-S10 that does not have any internal storage or Wi-Fi.
The S16 is priced at 1,399,000 won (USD 1,158), S15 at 1,199,000 won (USD993) and S10 at 999,000 won (USD827).
