Other features the camcorder includes is the 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, optical image stabilization, still image capture, Wi-Fi with DLNA support, 18x Intelli-Zoom lens with 15x optical zoom, SDHC card slot and plug & play PC software.

Samsung will also release HMX-S15, which is same as S16 but with 32GB SSD and HMX-S10 that does not have any internal storage or Wi-Fi.

The S16 is priced at 1,399,000 won (USD 1,158), S15 at 1,199,000 won (USD993) and S10 at 999,000 won (USD827).
