Samsung at SID 2010

In addition to showing the world’s largest 19-inch transparent AMOLED screen, Samsung is showcasing a number of display technologies at the Society of Information Display (SID) 2010.

Samsung is exhibiting its 3D panel lineup that will include a 240Hz 3D LED TV panel, a 52-inch 3D Digital Information Display that does not need any glasses, a 120Hz 23-inch monitor panel and a 17-inch 3D panel for notebooks.

Samsung is also demonstrating an amorphous silicon TFT (a-Si TFT) display, 10.1-inch plastic e-paper, color e-paper and a flexible e-paper.

Other displays that graces the Samsung booth are eco-friendly displays like 55-inch 240Hz TV with active dimming and scanning technology, an 18.5-inch USB Monitor panel and some resistive and capacitive multi-touch panels.
