Samsung Galaxy Apollo I5801 gets official

Samsung phones continue to trickle out. After making a slew of devices official in Singapore today, Samsung has officially announced Galaxy Apollo I5801 Android device for the UK market. Orange will be its exclusive carrier and will offer the device on both prepay and postpaid plans.

The I5801 is spec’d similarly to I5800 and features quad-band GSM support, dual band 3G, 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, Social Hub, 3MP autofocus camera with face / smile detection, DivX,Xvid playback out of the box, Android market, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 1GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.

No word on the price yet.
