Looks like we’ll know almost everything related to Samsung’s Android tablet before it gets the official acknowledgment. New info now comes from Engadget whose source claims to have a hands-on on the tablet. The source says that the tablet is “sturdy and well-built” and is “very thin,” akin to iPhone. If that is not enough, he said that the model number P1000 is indeed correct and will offer full phone functionality done via a Bluetooth headset, will have a front-facing camera, 3.2 megapixel at the back, Wi-Fi, 3G and run Android 2.2 Froyo update.
We’re not sure how much of it is true or will make it in the final product but seems highly plausible.
Samsung’s JK Shin had confirmed that the Galaxy Tab will be launched in Q3 2010 and the recent rumored specs include 7-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz CPU, microSD slot, 16GB internal memory and more.
