Samsung launches rugged Xcover (E2370) phone

Samsung’s rugged E2370 that was unveiled at MWC this year has been announced for the Swedish market. Known as Xcover, the phone is certified with IP54 rating which means it can withstand dust, water and drops with ease. However, it’s rugged capabilities are not the only thing to boast of.

Xcover comes with a 2000mAh battery that claims to give a standby time of up to 67 days (or 1,600 hours) and talk time of nearly a day (up to 22 hours).

Other features Xcover includes are FM Radio, music player, Bluetooth, loudspeaker, flashlight with a dedicated button, VGA camera, 5MB internal memory and microSD card slot supporting up to 2GB.

Xcover will arrive in July in red or black for a price of around 950SEK (99EUR).
