Samsung is riding high on the success of Galaxy S, at least in its home market. SK Telecom who is the official carrier of the phone has announced that Galaxy S has surpassed 100,000 units. The sales figure takes into account from its release on June 24 till June 29 i.e. today till 2PM.
Galaxy S has been enjoying good sales, which sold 10,000 units in just five hours on the launch day and has steadily increased days after.
Of course, it’s way less than what Apple sold their iPhone 4 in first three days but considering South Korea where any phone’s post launch sales reaches around 200,000 units is a hit, Galaxy S’ achievement in such a short time is no easy task.

iPhone’s launch was a 3rd generation product with 5 different simultaneous market launch. That is why it was so popular.
This on the other hand is a first generation product launching in one market.
