Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy 3 has been announced for the German market. The Galaxy 3 (I5800) may not please when you compare it spec-to-spec with Galaxy S but it’s a very good buy if you’re in the market for an affordable Android device.
Galaxy 3 is powered by a 667MHz CPU and runs the latest Android 2.1 OS. It supports quad-band GSM, dual-band 3G and features a 3.2-inch display, 3MP autofocus camera, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, music player with DNSe, DivX support, FM Radio and microSD card slot.
It will start retailing by end of July for 299 euros.
