Wave 525

Samsung has announced new bada OS-powered phones in Russia. The Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro that went official in CommunicAsia last month will be known as Wave 525 and Wave 533 respectively.

Despite the name change, the features of both the phones remain the same. The only difference between both the devices is the inclusion of a physical keyboard and the price.

The Wave 525 and Wave 533 features quad-band GSM support, 3.2-inch WQVGA TFT LCD, 3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, A-GPS, accelerometer, ActiveSync support, Social Hub, TouchWiz 3.0, Dolfin browser 2.0, Samsung Apps, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, music player with SoundAlive, 80MB internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 16GB) and 1,200mAh battery.

Both phones will reach Russian retail stores in September carrying a price tag of 9,000 rubles or $300 (Wave 525) and 10,000 rubles or $331 (Wave 533).

I am curious about its HW specs and 3d games compatibility to s8500. Maybe it could run same 3d games cause its smaller resolution.

I have bought this gadget yesterday and I am getting used to these new functionalities. It gives u the feel of iPhone for INR 7700/-. It should be taken care properly as it seems to be delicate and the pouch which is being supplied is too small to fit the gadget. However recommended!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
