Samsung has announced the recently leaked Intensity II QWERTY slider phone for Verizon Wireless. Samsung says the device is made partly from recycled plastic and includes the battery cover made from 35 percent post-consumer materials.
On the features front, Intensity II has a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 1.3MP infrared camera with night vision support, Bluetooth, an eco-calculator app to track user’s carbon footprint, music player, SNS support and microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB.
The phone is available online for $49.99 and will arrive in retail stores in coming weeks.
