Samsung has started sending press invites to US journalists scheduled take place in New York on Aug 11. The invite does not mention anything about the products but we reckon it could be Samsung’s Galaxy Tab tablet and even YP-MB2 PMP considering the invite says “new products and announcements”. Nevertheless, we’ll know definitely what’s in store for us in couple of weeks.
Galaxy Tab will be Samsung’s first Android-based tablet that will feature 7-inch display (no confirmation about LCD or AMOLED), Wi-Fi, GPS, dual cameras and 3G support.
YP-MB2 or YP-M2 seems to be an exact replica of Galaxy S minus the phone features and a downgraded camera. It will have a 3.2MP camera and will come in capacities of 8/16/32GB.
do you know if you will be able to make calls on the galaxy tab ? i’m sure they will announce it on the 11th but i want to know now 🙂 thx.
