Samsung’s LG U+ variant has been caught in a press picture before but this time we’re seeing the phone alongside its elder sibling, Galaxy S. Engadget received couple of pictures of the device confirming LG’s version with a smaller screen. The phone is expected to feature a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen and one of our sources have chimed in to claim that it won’t be a Super AMOLED as is the case with SKT’s Galaxy S but will have an AMOLED Plus screen.
Now, if true, AMOLED Plus screens are like the ‘in-between’ of regular AMOLED and Super AMOLED that promises to have more touch sensitivity, improved visibility and clarity. Remaining features are expected to be the same.
Galaxy U will come out this month whereas KT’s Galaxy K will come out in September.
