Samsung has announced an entry-level point-and-shoot camera that features a built-in USB connector. Users now don’t have to carry a USB cable to copy their pictures and videos captured from the digital camera to the PC. In addition to PL90’s plug-and-play functionality, the USB connector is able to recharge the battery off the connected USB port, eliminating the need to have a separate power cord.
PL90 can shoot pictures at up to 12.2 megapixel resolution and features 4x optical zoom, 2.7-inch 230K LCD, Smart Auto function, VGA video recording, Beauty shot, Face Detection, Self Portrait mode, Smile Mode and Blink Detection.
It will arrive in September for $149.99.
