Five of Samsung products have won the EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) award. The awards were won in different categories that were chosen by editors from top consumer electronics magazines across Europe. The five categories along with the respective products are as follows:
European 3D Solution 2010-2011: Samsung UE46C8000 & HT-C6930W
The jury deems 46-inch C8000 3D LED TV and C6930W Home Theatre make a great pair for 3D consumption. The Home Theatre supports Blu-ray playback and feature 7.1 channel sound, enabling topnotch 3D experience for consumers.
European Blu-ray Player 2010-2011: Samsung BD C8900/8900s
Samsung’s C8900 is the European Blu-ray player for this year that features full HD 3D playback. Additionally it can record up to 136 hours of HD recording on its 500GB HDD, satellite tuner (8900s only), Wi-Fi, USB port, Internet@TV and more.
European Social Media Phone 2010-2011: Samsung Wave S8500
Samsung’s first bada phone is crowned as the best social media phone, thanks to its Social Hub SNS app. Moreover, it offers superior hardware like 3.3-inch Super AMOLED display, metal chassis, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, 1GHz CPU at a low price.
European Smartphone 2010-2011: Samsung Galaxy S I9000

European Advanced Compact Camera 2010-2011: Samsung EX1
EX1 was announced as a winner in the advanced compact camera category. The camera boasts f/1.8 24mm wide-angle lens that is claimed to take better pictures in low-light conditions. Other than that, the 10 megapixel camera has a 3-inch AMOLED screen, dual-image stabilization, manual controls, RAW support and more.
