Samsung has announced Galaxy 3 (I5801) and Galaxy 5 (I5503) for the Indian market. Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 lures the bottom of the market who doesn’t want to shell out more for than 15k for smartphone.
At Rs. 12,300 Galaxy 3 features a 667MHz CPU, 3.2-inch WQVGA TFT LCD, 3G, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, music player, DNSe, DivX/Xvid playback, FM Radio, 130MB internal memory, GPS, microSD card up to 32GB and 1500mAh battery.
Galaxy 5 further lowers the bar with 2.8-inch QVGA screen, 600MHz CPU, 2MP camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio, music player, 90MB internal memory and microSD card slot (up to 16GB). The Galaxy 5 goes for just Rs. 10,200.
Moreover, both the devices come with TouchWiz 3.0 UI, Layar Reality Browser, Social Hub, Allshare and Swype.
