Corning Incorporated, makers of Gorilla Glass have confirmed that Samsung’s high-end Galaxy S device is equipped with Gorilla Glass. Gorilla Glass is a superior quality thin-sheet glass that is created by alkali-aluminosilicate and is highly scratch resistant and durable.

Advanced display technology plays a crucial role in meeting consumers’ growing expectations on high-end mobile devices, especially smartphones. Corning’s Gorilla glass has helped maximize Galaxy S’s unique smartphone features by enabling a high-quality touch display.
