Vodafone UK comes clean, won’t invalidate warranty when updated to official Galaxy S firmware

We told you yesterday about how Vodafone confirmed to terminate their side of warranty if Vodafone Galaxy S users updated to non-approved official firmware. Now a Vodafone executive just informed us about a new development that says customer’s warranty won’t be invalidated in case they update their phone to JM1 firmware.

Vodafone also confirmed that a new Vodafone-approved JM1 update will be available soon to their users who run firmware I9000BUJF5 or I9000BUJG2.

The Vodafone update will also be available via Kies.
