Galaxy S has added another feather to its cap as it has earned DivX HD certification. The DivX Certified for HD means Galaxy S is optimized to play 720p DivX files, making it the first certified Android device and second after Samsung Wave.

Galaxy S is Samsung’s high-end Android device that features a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5MP camera, 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 (v2.1 in Epic 4G), GPS, microSD card slot and more.
