Samsung announces Android-powered Galaxy Player 50 PMP [Updated]

Galaxy Player 50

UPDATE 2: Image! [via]

UPDATE: We’ve got other details as well. The PMP features a 2MP camera, DLNA, Wi-Fi, 8 and 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), ThinkFree office suite and access to Google services and Android market. It will arrive in October for 229 Euros (8GB) and 299 Euros (16GB).

Galaxy Tab is definitely the show stealer today but Samsung also made an Android PMP official, called as the Galaxy Player 50. We don’t think it’s the rumored YP-MB2 because Galaxy Player 50 has a 3.2-inch screen, Android 2.1 OS, SoundAlive, DivX support and Drag and drop functionality.

The player will be on the show floor so we will get new, confirmed details soon.

In how many colors will this be released? Only white color was exhibited at IFA. White is pretty and clean but I would like to see pink or orange as well. Since Galaxy Player is Android OS, green seems like a good idea as well.

I like it!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely my mp3!!!! All I need now it to ask my dad to my it! I should point out some good points of it that he cannot resist to buy me it! I heard sound quality is the best here, because Samsung use its unique function SoundAlive here. And I like design – its design is really glamorous. All I need for Christmas is G50!
