Samsung’s decision to go with LCD for Galaxy Tab might have not gone well for some who expected a large Super AMOLED display. But Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy Tab sports a Super TFT Display, which is different than the regular LCD.
Samsung started developing Super TFT alongside Super AMOLED and claims the new display improves battery life and helps to keep the price low. We don’t know how much the screen is improved but Samsung says it is one of their optimized displays.
