Samsung’s Galaxy S devices for China have already been spied in pictures and now Samsung has decided to officially Galaxy S devices. The world’s biggest telecom market will get three Galaxy S devices from three different operators – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.
While Galaxy S’ USP remains the same with 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 720p HD video recording, there are few differentiating factors that set them apart from each other.
The China Telecom version (I909) features dual-standby supporting CDMA and GSM bands; China Mobile’s version (I9008) runs on TD-SCDMA with OPhone OS 2.0 and features CMMB Mobile TV support; finally it’s the (I9088) that features WCDMA support and looks similar to AT&T’s Captivate.
