Samsung rugged phone lineup has got a new addition – the Xcover 271 (B2710). The new phone raises its rugged capabilities and is now certified with IP67 rating, which is the highest ever a Samsung phone has received. The phone is shock, dust and water resistant that can work even after being submerged in the 1 meter deep water for up to 30 minutes.
Other things the new Xcover phone brings to the table is torch, 3G support with video calling, 2-inch display, GPS, Google Maps support, digital compass, pedometer, FM Radio, loudspeaker, large keypad, music player, 30MB internal memory, microSD card slot and talk time of up to 19 hours (2G) or up to 7 hours (3G).
It will arrive in Sweden in October for about 1,700 kronor (US$241).
