Just as we had expected, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Tab for the American market and will be available on four major carriers – Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T. Although most features remain the same as the international version, voice calling in the US variants is apparently absent. Also, Sprint users who expected Galaxy Tab to support 4G, will have to face disappointment.
Galaxy Tab runs Android 2.2 and features 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 7-inch WSVGA Super TFT screen, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Social Hub, Media Hub, 3MP main camera, front-facing camera for video calls, access to Android market, integrated GPS, microSD card slot and 4,000mAh battery.
None of the operators haven’t released any tentative pricing and will arrive sometime before holiday season.
