Apparently, a new update for T-Mobile Vibrant users has been released by Samsung via its PC software, Kies. The JI5 update is not a Froyo update but contains number of fixes, including the GPS fix. Moreover, the update is also said to enable Media Hub, a service that allows renting or purchase of TV shows and movies on the device. As far as OTA update goes, T-Mobile will announce it soon.
On the other hand, another Galaxy S device – Epic 4G has got DI18 OTA updatethat fixes Wi-Fi standby battery drain, increase in 3G upload speeds, Amazon MP3 download in 4G and improves large email lag in upload speeds. Users need to be on firmware DI07 to receive this update.
