Samsung’s Android-based PMP, Galaxy Player 50 (YP-G50) that was first shown off at the IFA last month is now being sold by a French e-tailer. The player is priced at 199 euros for 8GB and 249 euros for 16GB internal memory.
The portable media player runs on Android 2.1 and features a 3.2-inch display (400×240), 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, DivX support, SoundAlive, and microSD card slot.

It would be hard to challenge the iPod Touch that has both the Apple Store and the ease of iTunes to make it a complete solution all from one stable. A standalone Android music player could offer you a rival option, could be much more affordable in price and give you all the Android Market goodies.

I like it!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely my mp3!!!! All I need now it to ask my dad to buy it! I should point out some good points of it that he cannot resist bying it to me! I heard it has a ncie sound quality. And I like design – its design is really glamorous, though more colours would do better))
