Samsung Wave II (S8530)

Samsung has announced its latest Wave device for the Russian market. The Wave II (GT-S8530) is similar to the original Wave but it runs on the latest bada 1.2 and adds a larger 3.7-inch screen.

While we’re not aware of the full changes of bada 1.2, Samsung has confirmed that the updated OS will bring T9 Trace to the phone, which works similarly to Swype.

As for the hardware specs, the phone supports 3G and has a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 3.7-inch WVGA TFT LCD display, TouchWiz UI 3.0, 5MP camera with flash and 720p HD video recording, Samsung Apps support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1500mAh battery and microSD card slot.

The phone will arrive in Russia in November for 19,990 Rubles (667 USD).
