Samsung’s YP-Q3 portable media player that was unveiled in late August is now available in the South Korean market. The aluminum-clad Q3 is targeted at first-time PMP buyers and features a 2.2-inch display, SoundAlive 5.1ch surround sound tech, wide variety of multimedia codec support like DivX/Xvid/MP3/FLAC/OGG, FM Radio, image and text viewer.
The player will come in two colors – black/white and white/pink. The 4GB Q3 will go for 109,000 won ($98) whereas 8GB will cost 149,000 won ($133).

If you get YP-Q3 looking for excellent performance, you may not be satisfied. However, if you are a user who values sound quality, functions, portability or design, you will be more than satisfied. Although Q3 is a mass Q series, it can play video clips without having to convert it. It supports widely used codec such as DivX and Xvid, so you can enjoy the videos without converting it.

can you tell me, are they going to be only in two colours? I wish there were more colourful mp3s)) and how is that Soundalike is working? do I need to adjust it every time or is it automatically? but really wonna try them)

i think this Q3 is a nice player intorducing a new standart of mp3s)) and if the screen is ok and if they make its capacity about 16Gb it would be a very nice player!
