Just as promised, NTT DOCOMO will start selling Samsung’s Galaxy S (SC-02B) in Japan from October 28. The phone is effectively the same Galaxy S but supports DOCOMO’s sp-mode service and an e-book distribution service that goes on trial from the same day.
The phone has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz CPU, Android 2.2 OS, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 and access to three application markets – docomo market, Android market and Samsung apps.
