Another US operator has come clean with the release date of Samsung’s Android tablet. Sprint will release the tablet on November 14 for $400 with a two-year contract. This price is cheaper than Verizon’s $600 asking price but the Verizon offering will be sold without a contract.
Interested users can pre-order the device on Sprint now with a purchase of $50 Sprint gift card. However, this pre-order only ensures a user to be on the waitlist and will get the device only after November 14.
Sprint’s variant will also restrict voice calling but will have other Tab features like Android 2.2 OS, 1GHz CPU, 7-inch WSVGA LCD, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3MP rear camera with 1.3MP on the front, microSD card slot (16GB included) GPS and 4,000mAh battery.
