Samsung plans to ship more than 6m Galaxy Tabs in 2011

Galaxy Tab

In the Q&A session of Q3 2010 earnings call today, Samsung confirmed that they’re planning to ship a decent number of Galaxy Tabs next year. Samsung says that Fortune forecasted sales of about 6 million units but they’re expecting “more than 6 million.”

Samsung did not reveal the exact number but considering their aggressiveness and wide carrier’s acceptance, we won’t be surprised if they’re expecting anything less than 10 million units.
