Samsung preparing Android 2.2-based PMP YP-GB1

UPDATE: YP-GB1 will also have Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n considering its been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

If this leak is any indication, Samsung is banking too much on the Android OS. After having glimpsed YP-MB2 before and officially unveiling YP-G50 Android PMPs, Samsung is preparing a Froyo (Android 2.2) based Galaxy Player.

Korean site Moveplayer published the player’s first proof of existence which comes by way a certification from DLNA and DivX. This makes it certain that the new player will support Allshare (DLNA service) and 720p video playback.

A little bit of sleuthing from our side reveals that the player will also have a camera. Apparently, a user clicked this picture from YP-GB1.
