Earlier this week, Samsung introduced a new eco-friendly phone for AT&T subscribers. Called as the Evergeen, the quick messaging device is created with 70 percent recycled post-consumer plastics and packaging that utilizes 80% recycled post-consumer paper.
Evergreen passes the stringent RoHS standard and features a 2.4-inch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G, 2MP camera, Bluetooth and pre-installed AT&T navigator.
AT&T will start selling the phone from November 7 for $29.99 on contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
For every Evergreen sold, Samsung will donate $1 to a non-profit organization Cell Phones for Soldiers.
