UPDATE: Samsung has started rolling out the update to Swedish and Dutch users.
It has taken some time but Galaxy S users in UK have been given the taste of Froyo goodness. Users can update their phone firmware via Kies, which you can download from the link below.
The update will be rolled out gradually and Samsung says the update will reach everyone by end of November, including network-branded handsets.
Earlier today, Samsung also confirmed to release the Froyo update for South Korean Galaxy S users by next week.

Will the update delete the data on the phone (apps, internal sd and settings) ?
roger says
as far as i know, yes. but as a precaution I would recommend to back up data first. You know just in case, something goes wrong.

Wen interessiert UK und Korea? Ich will den Scheiß auch haben. Warum bekommen die Inselaffen das Update eher als wir hier in Deutschland? Wenn das so weiter geht, hat mein nächstes Mobiltelefon einen Apfel drauf.
