Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy Tab in South Korea will be used in Samsung’s Medical Center in Seoul. The service that will be used in the hospital is known as Dr. Smart and allows doctors to access the list of patients, medical information for rounds along with videos and images.

Samsung says the Electronics subsidiary and Medical Center worked closely for six months to plan the service and test with doctors and nurses.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab device soon in South Korea via SKT.
