MetroPCS has launched a cheap clamshell phone from Samsung with minimal features. The Contour (SCH-r250) goes for just $49 and brings features like 2-inch QQVGA main display, 1.07-inch CSTN screen, MetroWEB for internet access, Icon Carousel for quick access to messaging, calendar etc., VGA camera, Bluetooth and talk time of up to 3.3 hours.
The phone also supports various other MetroPCS services like Metro 411 Directory Assistance, MetroBACKUP and more.
