According to a report from Gartner, Samsung is the number one Android handset provider in the United States market. The research report is for Q3 2010 where Samsung managed to capture 32.1 percent of the US smartphone market share as compared to 22.9 in Q4 2009.

Needless to say, Galaxy S Series is the one that made this possible. Gartner also released Galaxy S’ shipment figures, which has passed 3m units in United States alone.

Different variants of Galaxy S are currently available on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, along with U.S. Cellular and Cellular South.
