Nexus S in Russia will have Super Clear LCD instead of Super AMOLED

December 7, 2010 By kunal 1 Comment

Nexus S

Google announced the Nexus S yesterday that will go on sale from this month in US and UK. The US/UK variant features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display but it looks like the Russian variant will be void of the Super AMOLED goodness.

Instead, when the Nexus S goes on sale in February 2011 in Russia, it will have a Super Clear LCD, which is currently being used in Wave II.

We’re not sure but the switch to Super Clear LCD could be applicable to other countries as well.
