While Galaxy S users in USA wait for their devices to get Froyo, Sprint just announced that Samsung’s entry-level Intercept device has got the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update. In addition to the OS upgrade, the DL05 update will give improved Sprint Navigation and fixes for inadvertent force closures and dropped calls.
The update will be rolled out in batches by Google, so you might have to wait for some time.
