Samsung has confirmed that South Korea will be the first country to get the Galaxy Player (YP-GB1). The Galaxy Player, which is a PMP-version of Galaxy S will go on sale in SK from next month at an undisclosed price. However, according to the latest grapevine the 8GB, 16GB and 32GB variants will cost 399,000 won, 459,000 won and 559,000 won respectively.
Wall Street Journal is also reporting that Galaxy Player is the “first major product introduction” from Samsung’s mobile phone division.
To give a brief rundown, Galaxy Player features a 1GHz CPU, 4-inch Super Clear LCD, Android 2.2 OS, T-DMB, SoundAlive audio enhancing technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.2MP rear camera with front facing camera for video calling, GPS, HD video playback, microSD card slot, Android Market and Samsung Apps access and a 1200mAh removable battery.
