Samsung has announced a new President and CEO for its Electronics operations in America. Yangkyu (Y.K.) Kim will take place of C.S. Choi as Choi will return to Korea as an Executive Advisor to Samsung’s global Vice Chairman and CEO, Mr. G.S. Choi.
Kim will assume the position effective immediately and will overlook the operations in USA, Canada and Mexico.
Kim has worked with Samsung for over 24-years and has worked as the position of Senior Vice President and head of global sales and marketing for the Visual Display Business, was head of mobile phone sales and marketing for Europe and even President of Samsung Electronics Philippines and France.
