T-Mobile’s Vibrant, a Galaxy S device has finally got the much-awaited Android 2.2 (Froyo) update. In addition to the OS upgrade, the new update brings in Wi-Fi calling, USB or wireless tethering, Adobe Flash support, ability to install apps on SD card and more.
Interestingly, the update is not available over-the-air so users will have to grab the Kies Mini software from the link below and update the phone with KA6 (build number T959UVKA6). Users currently on JFD might want to wait as there are some issues when upgrading directly from JFD to KA6.
