Samsung-developed Google Nexus S has been announced for Italy. The world’s first phone running Android 2.3 OS (Gingerbread) will be available to Italian consumers from next month carrying a price tag of 549 euros.
The Nexus S for Italy boasts all the same features except one – it has a 4-inch Super Clear LCD panel instead of 4-inch Super AMOLED. Rest of the features include 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5MP rear-facing camera with VGA on the front, A-GPS, NFC support, HD video playback, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, gyroscope, 16GB iNAND internal memory, compass and 1500mAh battery.
