Samsung has teamed up with Telia Sonera to launch a 4G laptop in Sweden. The X430 will go on sale from Jan 28 and will come integrated with a 4G modem allowing users to surf the internet to up to 100Mbps. The modem is also backward compatible, which means in case of unavailability of 4G, a user can still connect to 3G and GSM/EDGE networks.
The 14-inch notebook weighs over 2 pounds and features an LED backlit display, Core i3 processor, Wi-Fi and battery life of about 8 hours.
The notebook will sell for 7,100 Swedish kronor without any contract or 4,800 kronor if bought on a 2-year contract.
