Samsung to use Nvidia dual-core chip in an upcoming smartphone

February 15, 2011 By kunal 1 Comment

Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the only Samsung device that currently uses a dual-core chip from Nvidia. However, Nvidia’s release for the same revealed an interesting tidbit confirming about the development of a phone with an Nvidia chip.

The upcoming “Super Phone” from Samsung will be based on Android OS and though it will have a dual-core processor, it is still unclear if we’ll see the same Tegra 2 we’ve seen in other competitive devices. Speculations suggest the “never-before-seen experiences” statement could mean a 1.2GHz Tegra 2 3D processor.

so Galaxy S II is not the flagship phone for 2011. Samsung is definitely going crazy.
