Samsung expects to sell 10m 3D TVs this year

February 18, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

Despite mediocre response from consumers towards 3D TVs, Samsung is bullish about the future of 3D TVs. Samsung has projected to sell up to 10 million 3D TVs this year as compared to just 2 milllion last year.

Samsung’s Visual Display President, Yoon Boo-geun also said that the use of active-shutter glass technology is superior when compared to other 3D viewing technologies.

Samsung introduced D7000 and D8000 yesterday with almost no flickering and cross-talk.
