Samsung today unveiled five new lenses for its NX digital camera lineup taking the total lineup of NX lenses to 10. All the lenses boast Samsung’s unique i-Function system, which means users will be able to adjust camera settings directly from the lens.
The first lens to be unveiled is 18-200mm multi-purpose Long Zoom Lens. As you’d expect, this lens allows users to zoom at high levels but at the same time boast Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that helps to take long-range shots in crisp detail. The lens also features fast and silent auto-focus due to the integration of Voice Coil Motor technology.
Next up is 16mm F2.4 ultra-wide pancake lens. The ultra-wide lens with bright aperture allows capturing images in low-light scenarios.
The 60mm Macro lens features Super Sonic Actuator (SSA) that makes the auto focus faster and quieter, comes with full-time manual focus and OIS to cancel out any unwanted hand movement.
The ultra-bright 85mm F1.4 CSC lens is a premium portrait lens designed for professional photographers. Just like the 60mm lens, this also boasts SSA and full-time manual focus.
Finally, it’s the 16-80mm advanced standard zoom lens that comes with silent auto-focus, OIS and VCM.
