UPDATE: Now available. Download from here.

It’s been slow but more Galaxy S users in US will now see their phones getting updated to the Froyo OS. Samsung has confirmed to release the Android 2.2 update for AT&T’s Galaxy S phone, Captivate.

Like other devices running on Android 2.2, Captivate users will also get some new features like Adobe Flash 10.1 support, apps installation on SD card, performance improvement etc.

Unlike Epic 4G’s update, Captivate’s 2.2 will reach users via Kies mini.
