Galaxy Pro was not the only phone announced yesterday at the Samsung SEA Forum in Singapore. Previously leaked Corby II (GT-S3850) also got the official acknowledgement that will ride on the success of the original colourful Corby series.
Corby II comes in a revamped design and features quad-band GSM/EDGE support, 3.14-inch touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, Social Hub, email and Microsoft Exchange support, 2MP camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot up to 16GB, 1000mAh battery giving talk time of up to 9.5 hours. One interesting addition is the integration of T9 QuickType keyboard which is currently found in few other Samsung phones.
Corby II will be launched in White, Pink and Yellow in late March in Germany followed by countries in Europe, Latin America, Asia, India, China, Middle East and Africa.
