Samsung Romania says Android 2.3 coming for Galaxy S, I5500 and I5800 to get Froyo this month

Samsung Mobile Romania has posted release dates of Android updates for its Galaxy devices. On their Facebook account, Samsung Romania has confirmed to roll out Froyo update for its I5500 by next week (March 14-20) whereas I5800 users can expect the Android 2.2 goodness by end of this month.

There’s some good news for Galaxy S users as well. The Romanian subsidiary will release the Android 2.2.1 update by March 20 and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update by “the end,” which I assume the machine translation means by end of this month.
