Here’s an interesting rumor from China claiming that HP is considering to sell its PC business. Chinese newspaper Commercial Times published the info saying that HP was reportedly in talks with other players to sell its PC business but founnd Samsung a perfect fit considering the Korean’s “aggressive push in the notebook business.”
Digitimes heard the same thing from their sources in Q4 2010 but the deal apparently fell out due to an “unknown reason.” HP recently announced to integrate webOS into its future PC products, which also refutes Chines paper’s claim.
